The Two Minute Paper initiative was started by Dr. Elias Aydi at MSU Physics and Astronomy department, and now is hosted at Texas Tech University, Physics and Astronomy Department. Dr. Aydi, an enthusiast about science communication and public engagement, aspires to communicate the research done at TTU PHAS department to the community, in a simple and accessible way. The Two Minute Paper project was born! The videos are professionally recorded and edited in order to offer viewers a high-quality and enjoyable content.
As our research is funded by the public, we have a responsibility towards the public to communicate the research we are doing!

Dr. Elias Ayd is a Professor of Physics and Astronomy Department at Texas Tech University. Dr. Aydi is very enthusiastic about promoting sciences in general and astronomy in particular, using online platforms! He is also an aspired photographer/videographer and therefore he tries to invest his expertise in videography and video editing into the Two Minute Paper project.
